This rescue began in 1998 when the Laub family rescued a Dane named
Harley from SpokAnimal Animal Shelter. After learning that there wasn't a rescue in the area, and that merle Great Danes were being
drowned at birth by breeders and put in freezers alive....
Not another word needed to be said- we were Great Dane rescue! We thought we would just rescue these poor merles
from unscrupulous deaths. Little did we know that we would come to care about every Dane in need in the Inland Northwest!
Don't judge drool by the color of skin it hangs from!
Jeannie & Ken Laub rescued 775 Great Danes from 1998 to 2007.
This rescue continues today with the help of an all volunteer staff!
