Jennifer B.
Jennifer B., a longtime volunteer for our group, is our application guru! Jennifer screens
incoming adoption applications and keeps all of our records organized- not a small task with as many incoming Danes and adoption
applicants as we see a year! We are so lucky to have a volunteer who is so organized and efficient!

Salinas L.
Salinas L. met the Dane Gang when she adopted her beautiful black male
Dane, Harley, as a companion for her existing fawn Dane, Cassie. She liked having multiple Danes so much, she became
a foster home extraordinaire! Foster Danes at Salinas's home are spoiled rotten- they even get daily peanut butter
sandwiches as snacks!

Michelle J.
Michelle J. found the Dane Gang through our website and promptly volunteered
to be a foster home! She has a huge black male Dane named Draco who is a wonderful role model for his foster
Dane brothers and sisters and loves having doggy company. She also has a great school-age daughter who loves
to help her with Dane training and walking.

Jenafer J.
The Dane Gang knew Jenafer for some time before she became a volunteer for us. She has several years of
experience in the pet care industry, so we relentlessly lobbied for her to become "one of us"! Now she is a foster home
for us, and as we knew- she is great! Jenafer is excellent at working on training issues with our Danes. Her foster
dogs get the company of her two happy-go-lucky personal dogs- Joey the fox terrier and Georgia the doberman!

Dena adopted her second foster dog, a special needs boy named Dallas, and also has an rescued muttly named Molly!

Sara C.
Sara learned about the Dane Gang through our website. She has great
rural, fenced property that's ideal for foster Danes to run and play. Additionally, she has the same "rescue bug" as
the rest of us- she wants to bring every unwanted dog home and lead it to a better life!

Jeannie and Ken L., Founders
Jeannie and Ken started the Dane Gang, then known as the Idaho Great Dane Rescue, in 1998 in
memory of their first Dane, Harley. They built the rescue from the ground up- and selflessly dedicated themselves to over 737 Danes over a period of nine
years. Danes everywhere have Jeannie and Ken to thank for saving their lives! See the story of their beloved rescue
Dane, Hannibal, here.
