Our mission is to provide healthy Danes that can be enjoyed by their owner for many happy years; with our focus on health and temperament. In addition, we want to accommodate our customers with information that can be very vital in raising your dog. My family and I purchased our first Great Dane in 2002 and ever since then fell in love with the breed. Since then, we have continued adding to the family. All of our Danes are an equal part of our family and live a very happy and fulfilling life.
We are a three generation hobby farm. All 3 generations live on the farm and care for all the animals. We moved to 80 acres in Dimock, South Dakota in 1996, from Makakilo, Hawaii. Hence the name ALOHA RANCH. Grandma & Grandpa retired and wanted to have some land to play with animals, and introduce their kids & grand kids to the beauty & wonderment of all species.
We thrive on our own merits and accomplishments. We do not engage in building ourselves up by tearing others down. Our focus is on our own goals, research and accomplishments. We do not distract ourselves or deviate from our commitment to Our Mission by engaging in frivolous and meritless discussions of others. We conduct ourselves in an ethical and responsible manner in all of our actions. We are open and honest about the health issues affecting our breed and make honest disclosures regarding same, even if it “fuels” underhanded and cruel discussions by meritless parties who silence their own problems.
Nestled at the base of Hatchers Pass in Palmer Alaska is a very small but lovely Home or Kennel as Christine has come to call it. It was 2002 when our Dream Kennel was completed on Rainbow Trout Infested Walby Lake. Christine and I built “Assay Acres” our Dream house not knowing that some of the most loving People and Animals in the world would come to join us as well as depart from us here. Our Family which consists of My wife Christine our Daughters Brandie and Courtny, as well as Sons Frankie & Joshua, Grandson Jessie, Granddaughter Daisy and myself the Lord of the Manor Frank, when the Dogs are outside.
We are a small breeder of Harlequin family Great Danes. Although our breeding dogs are also show dogs, our Danes are our family members 1st and foremost. They live in our home as part of the family and have very full lives. Puppies are raised in our home and grow up around normal, everyday life.
All of our puppies are bred for health, beauty and most of all, a calm, loving, gentle disposition. We prepare each puppy to be a service, therapy dog or loving family member. A tremendous amount of time and love is dedicated to socializing, and holding each baby everyday. The whole family shares in the joy of raising your puppy. We may not be the cheapest but our puppy’s’ families say we’re the best!!!!

We are a small hobby breeder.We have been raising and placing sweet AKC Great Danes in loving homes since January, 2009. Our danes are brought into this world with one purpose – to become great pets for loving owners. We are not show breeders and our prices reflect the quality PETS we raise. We live on a small hobby farm with our danes where they have room to run and a creek to play in during the hot days of summer. Our danes are raised for the living room – not the show ring and our focus is on temperament and health – not if our puppies have the ‘correct color’ or spots in the right place. We find all colors and patterns beautiful as long as a pup is happy and healthy.

Linda and Jerry Lauermann have owned Great Danes for over 40 years. Any breeding has been carefully selected with the first focus on health and temperament, these puppies being family members first. As a result, we can take pride in having many Great Danes in the line living 12 to 14 years old. We currently have one who recently celebrated her 14th birthday, with littermates and the dam living 12-13 yrs. Along with health and temperament, we have focused on improving conformation and color with any proposed litter. We want to produce the finest looking, best moving lap dogs in the ring or on the family’s couch!
We have been raising dogs for over 36 years and dachshunds for 22 years.We are committed to breed strong healthy puppies that will give their owners a lifetime of blessings! We are working hard to cross lines that have strong loins and long rib cages which will help support the spine.
Our puppies are placed in approved homes at 8 weeks of age and we are very strict with spay/neuter contracts. We require they be raised in doors and never tied out to a dog house. Both obedience & crate training are highly recommended. We also give a 2 year written health warranty (with some exceptions) and lifetime breeder support. Lastly, if for any reason you are unable to keep a puppy purchased from us, we will always welcome him/her back in to our home and family.
Here at Blue River Danes, we are a small family devoted to producing quality danes with great temperaments, and conformation. All of our dogs are socialized to young children, and a variety of other animals. A Dane that doesn’t meet with our expectation is not used in our breeding program.
I have always been a dog lover, cat hater. Sorry. They are just too prissy. I love big dogs, especially Great Danes. I am very proud to have two beautiful European Blue Great Danes. They are not only beautiful, but very calm, cuddly and loyal.
Blueprint Danes is a small hobby breeder specializing in Blue Great Danes. Starting out, I have always had a fascination with Giant breed Dogs. So when i finally bought my first dog it was no surprise that it was a Great Dane. Their regal-ness, sweet nature, and goofiness drew me right toward them. I continue to show in conformation and breed for myself and the show ring first. Health, Longevity and breeding for only the betterment of the breed are the main focuses of Blueprint Danes.
We own and breed harlequin, black and merle great danes. All of our dogs are from BMW Kennels in Long Island with many coming from Alaska and even as far away as Germany. BMW stands for: Black, Merle and White, which is what is typically found among the BMW bloodline. BMW Danes consistently are in the top 10 percent of the world of Great Dane Bloodlines according to Great Dane Club of America Est. 1889 Hall of Fame and Register of Merit. The bloodline produces primarily Harlequins, Mantles, and Black with white markings.
We have both been involved with the breeding, showing and care of Danes for over 30 years. We strive to breed the highest quality of today’s American Dane. Health, temperament and conformation are of utmost importance.We currently show our danes in the AKC conformation ring and have bred a number of champions over the years with more to come.
