My name is Renee and I live here with my dogs who are my kids and my life. Chopper who is 11 years old and as healthy as a horse =). Over the years we have imported a few dogs from some of the TOP show kennels in Russia, Germany, Poland and Slovenia. We have several European imports here to cross with our Champion American lines.
I have been an admirer of Great Dane since I was a little girl especially the Harlequin. Their awesome presence and dedication to their people are the traits that I love the most. The Great Dane Breed is one of the most regal breeds out there and I am very proud to be an owner and breeder.
Those of us who breed and show successfully spend far more on our Danes than we ever get back from sales. We spent way more than you can image in trying to improve and maintain the healthiest, excellent personalities that will make the very best family members. We breed for ourselves when we plan to keep a puppy and as a result usually have Danes to place in loving forever families. If you approach a breeder, it is very much appreciated to give honest praise of the Danes you admire. Describe your own goals as a Dane owner. Then politely request to know if the breeder may be able to help further those goals. Only at that point bring up price. If you don’t like the price, move on, please don’t haggle.
