AKC Breeder of Merit, breeding Champion Harlequin, Mantle, and Merle Great Danes for service, show, performance, and companion homes. We breed for smart minds and even temperament which allow an ‘off leash” lifestyle where owners can count on their dogs to be trustworthy and trainable in all environments. Our dogs live in our home and puppies are raised underfoot with full exposure to our adult dogs, other animals, and day to day life. They are handled continuously, and raised under professional socialization programs beginning at birth. These utilize exposure to different people, animals, sights, and sounds as designed to prepare puppies for Medical Service Dog work, the Show Ring, and living harmoniously side by side with their owners.
MICHAELDANE/JAYBEE DANES are AKC Breeders of Merit for HARLEQUIN, MANTLE and BLACK Great Danes– as well as all AKC approved colors for Great Danes. We strive to produce dogs with soundness, type, movement, temperament and personality. Here are some of the MICHAELDANE/JAYBEE DANES– Mantle, Harlequin and Black Great Danes… all champions:
I strive, with each breeding, to produce gentle and loving Great Danes. All of my Danes are family members/pets first and foremost, so temperament and longevity are a priority. My Danes do not live in kennels and are an active part of my home and family life. KRW Danes are “naturally reared” which means that my dogs are cared for in a holistic manner using a balance of conventional veterinary medicine. My personal Danes are Raw fed and I use alternative medicines and techniques to care for my animals. I enlist the use of both Western and Chinese herbs, homeopathy, acupuncture and chiropractic care to help maintain and strengthen my Great Danes.
Continuing the same breeding standards and quality that has been maintained and produced since 1994 under the sole kennel name of MICA.
My name is Stacie Stern-Leaphart and I live with my husband Steven, my 4 children: Samantha, Spencer, Schyler, and Sydnie. Also, sharing our home are our cats: George and Monroe, and, of course, our Danes: Yaz, Winston, Ben, Trump, Sera, and Fenway. My love for Danes began in childhood and I had my first Dane, a fawn (Rocky) while in high school and college. In 1992 I purchased my first show Dane, a brindle (Neil) and began showing him in California and then Hawaii. I chose the kennel name Ohana, (which is Hawaiian for family) because I feel that a Great Dane is the epitome of a family dog. No family is complete without a Dane.

We have greatly expanded !! I hope that we can meet your puppy needs !!!! We have at least a trio (2 females & 1 male) of each of our breeds now, so we should have at least 2 litters a year of each. We have waiting list for most all before the pups are even here! Our lives are filled with many animals and a lot of work !
CHROMADANE is a strict GDCA CODE OF ETHICS BREEDER. We breed working (service & therapy) & “dual ring” Danes. Our breeding stock competes and wins in AKC (& FCI) conformation shows as well as obedience, agility & other trials. Our Danes are all CGC temperament tested, and are working, certified TDI therapy dogs of even disposition. All are also CHIC-level health certified with OFA hip, heart, thyroid, & CERF, plus DNA certified, ‘chipped, annually vet’d & bred with a goal of healthful longevity.
We have been breeding quality puppies for over eight years. We specialize in breeding Great Danes. All puppies are registered with one or more Kennel Clubs or Registry service depending on the Sire and Dams registrations. Most puppies come with full or Limited registration unless otherwise noted. There is no guarantee that the puppy can be shown or bred or on the color or size of the puppy.
Mike and I joined the Great Dane Club of Tucson in the early 90’s and after becoming active in the club, we decided we would like to show. We bought our first show pup, Cookies and Crème aka C.C. from a breeder in Marana, AZ. The puppy’s Sire was “Clorox” from the Michaeldane/JB lines, and the Dam was from the Caprata lines. We are the owners and breeders of 5 Champion dogs including one in the Top 20 and 6 Champion bitches.
My dogs are raised with my children, the youngest being 5 months. We also have horses, cats, and some pet turkeys, as well as a bunch of wild turkeys that hang around, deer, elk, bear, mountain lion, and an occasional moose. I feel much better about our walks in the wilderness having the dogs with me! They go with us horseback riding, hiking, and to many events, they even have their own packs! All of my dogs live inside our home as part of our family and that is the only kind of home I will let my puppies or rescues go to. These are not outside dogs. Not to say they don’t love playing outside, but the majority of the time they would rather be curled up on a nice bed inside, preferably on or next to one of us.

Champions In the Ring….Champions at Home 28 Years of Living & Loving The Great Dane
Home of Multiple Breeder Owner Handled Best of Breed & Group Winning Danes.
We breed for intelligence and temperament but as you can see from our past pups our studs throw big bone and block heads. Our girls our spoiled couch potatoes that go outside upon request. Great Danes are not tolerable to heat or cold and need to be indoor dogs. Our puppies are spoiled from the moment they are born. They feel our touch before they feel their mothers. We are with the mothers through the entire birthing process.
The Great Dane loves home and family above all, with a stable temperament and a sweet attitude. He is big and strong, but he is very sensitive and needs to be by your side. The Dane wants to please you and he will if you are gentle and consistent in your handling of him. The Dane is very affectionate with the family (most Danes are dependable and devoted to children). He is good with the people he knows but may be aloof with strangers until he knows them better. The Dane is courageous and protective and does fine with other animals.
We have been breeding Great Danes since the late 1970’s and specializing Blue Danes since 2002. We wanted to share our love of Danes and the joy they bring to our lives.
Will Heberlin has been breeding Great Danes for over 25 years. With true love for the breed, he does not care to give a puppy to just anyone. He takes pride in getting to know the want-to-be-parents of his puppies as well as the environment they will be in. With this in mind he will only consider letting his puppies go to only qualified homes with responsible and loving owners.
Our Great Danes are AKC Certified and are truly great pets. We raise our dogs inside our home with our three children. Each of our dogs has a wonderful, unique personality that makes them great pets. We specialize in the breeding of Blue and Black Great Danes.
Welcome to DanLea Farms, breeders of the finest in AKC Registered Show or Pet Great Danes and Irish Wolfhounds. Our dogs are bred from a wonderful loving country home in Clayton, Indiana. We have over 30 years of professional breeding experience (no line breeding, champion stock).
My Danes have it pretty well around here. We all live on a small farm growing corn, soybeans, and wheat, also have a pick-your-own asparagus, strawberry, and black raspberry market in April, May, and June of each year. The Danes and Halsey have access to all areas on the property. They are all house broken and we have regular sleepovers. If they’re just too doggone dirty after a day of doing dog stuff, then all sleepovers are canceled until I get a chance to clean them up. There back-up quarters are in my farm shop. It has radiant floor heat and AC, I keep it around 64 degrees in the winter and 75 degrees in the summer and they have a 4’ X 6’ plush carpet pad to sleep on. I have another barn that I’m converting into “Dane Suites”. It’s a work-in-progress.
