I have loved Danes my entire life. For the past 18 years I have been living my dream of raising these magnificent creatures for others to love and enjoy.I have been blessed from the beginning with the wisdom of an awesome mentor and a great friend who has been breeding Danes for many years. With her help we are breeding a truly wonderful pet with great health and longevity. Our puppies are sold as family members to be loved and spoiled. Qualifying puppies will be offered at two prices. One with limited registration and another for full registration.
We have owned Danes for 30 years. I am proud to say that our dogs have been bred by some of the better show kennels in the country, and most of our pups come from generations of Champions. Our dogs are true members of our family. Whether they are from top bloodlines and make beautiful pups, or our “pet quality”, neutered buddies – we love them all the same. It is our desire to place our pups in homes that will love and appreciate them in the same manner that we do.
I started in Danes in 1992 with the intention of devoting a large portion of my life and priorities to becoming not only a breeder / enthusiast, but a true advocate of the breed’s style, temperament, health, and quality. I’ve run across so many websites with folks claiming to breed quality, not quantity, with health, temperament and breed type their goals, only to be saddened by the pictures they claim represent these traits in Danes. Thus many years ago, I asked myself how am I different. What should I do to have tangible evidence that I produce dogs that represents breed standard, quality, exceptional temperament, and above average health.
We live and hand raise our puppies here on a farm in South Alabama. We have been raising Great Danes for over 21 years & have loved every minute of it ! There is no way that our babies can be more socialized than they are. Even though we do Not Keep All of Our Danes Inside…that being said …We have Large Kennels and a Huge indoor kennel.
My Danes have it pretty well around here. We all live on a small farm growing corn, soybeans, and wheat, also have a pick-your-own asparagus, strawberry, and black raspberry market in April, May, and June of each year. The Danes and Halsey have access to all areas on the property. They are all house broken and we have regular sleepovers. If they’re just too doggone dirty after a day of doing dog stuff, then all sleepovers are canceled until I get a chance to clean them up. There back-up quarters are in my farm shop. It has radiant floor heat and AC, I keep it around 64 degrees in the winter and 75 degrees in the summer and they have a 4’ X 6’ plush carpet pad to sleep on. I have another barn that I’m converting into “Dane Suites”. It’s a work-in-progress.
My name is Melody and my husband Sonny and I have been breeding AWESOME, LOVING, HEALTHY, LOYAL, FAMILY FRIENDLY, GENTLE family members for eighteen years. From birth, all of our puppies are well socialized and spoiled. We breed according to the AKC standard for each breed.
Hello, and welcome to Poe Hill European Great Danes! If you are a dog lover or Dane lover, you’ve come to the right place. European Great Danes are among the gentlest dogs that have ever been bred, even though their imposing size might seem to suggest otherwise. When a Great Dane is trained well, they grow to be extremely lovable and trustworthy dogs that will stand by their “pack”—you and your family—unflinchingly. They are extremely gentle giants and do excellently being around small children. Provided they receive the right training, they are not overly aggressive and can adapt to most situations.
We are a small kennel who occasionally breeds health-tested show and companion dogs. Our dogs are house dogs and well loved. We are located in Los Gatos, California. We co-breed with our good friend and passionate breeder Walter Salles in Brazil, Canil do Alto Gávea. After many years of showing, being involved in the Breed at many levels, we are committed to promote responsible breeding and educating the folks who are interested in a Great Dane to find a breeder who has the best interest of the breed in mind.
My name is Lynnsey, and my husband and I have been breeding Danes for just over 10 years now! Our foundation and focus lies with the remarkable Blue Dane. Proudly representing sound health and temperament, as well as that signature Blue color. Over recent years we have been blessed to grow our family and breeding program with the addition of the Black Dane.
I am an AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Evaluator and taught public obedience classes for multiple years. Served as the Rescue Coordinator for the GDC of Des Moines Rescue program for several years and have volunteered for Upper Midwest Great Dane Rescue, PALS, and the Knoxville Humane Society.
We are a small breeder of Harlequin family Great Danes. Although our breeding dogs are also show dogs, our Danes are our family members 1st and foremost. They live in our home as part of the family and have very full lives. Puppies are raised in our home and grow up around normal, everyday life.

12 Weeks old shots current, ready for Valentines day!
Linda and Jerry Lauermann have owned Great Danes for over 40 years. Any breeding has been carefully selected with the first focus on health and temperament, these puppies being family members first. As a result, we can take pride in having many Great Danes in the line living 12 to 14 years old. We currently have one who recently celebrated her 14th birthday, with littermates and the dam living 12-13 yrs. Along with health and temperament, we have focused on improving conformation and color with any proposed litter. We want to produce the finest looking, best moving lap dogs in the ring or on the family’s couch!
We are a small hobby breeder. We have been raising and placing sweet AKC Great Danes in loving homes since January, 2009. Our danes are brought into this world with one purpose – to become great pets for loving owners. We are not show breeders and our prices reflect the quality PETS we raise. We live on a small hobby farm with our danes where they have room to run and a creek to play in during the hot days of summer. Our danes are raised for the living room – not the show ring and our focus is on temperament and health – not if our puppies have the ‘correct color’ or spots in the right place. We find all colors and patterns beautiful as long as a pup is happy and healthy.

StarGazN Great Danes is located in beautiful East Central Wisconsin. Merle and I have always had a love for dogs. Merle wanted a Great Dane and I wanted a dog that could snuggle up in my lap (I would later learn that Danes can accomplish this).
Welcome to our family.
Welcome to Ellenni Danes. I am happy you have stopped by. I have been involved with Great Danes all my life. I first fell in love with the Boston color that is now recognized as the Mantle and had my heart set on showing this color in the conformation ring. I started with a puppy, “Ellie” Ellenni’s Arctic Fox In Sox, CGC Bred by Lou Fox, who is my first champion and heart dog, and part of my namesake. My twin daughters Angéle and Brielly became very interested in the dogs and soon caught the fever as well and started showing with Boston Terriers. With wonderful mentors and lots of training and practice classes, our dreams have come true. We have been breeding and training our home bred champions since 2004.
I am an AKC Silver Breeder of Merit and H.E.A.R.T
All of our dogs are health tested and registered through The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals at http://www.ofa.org
